NB#3 Fafhrdsdóttir the Berserker

Alright, alright, I’m addicted to Nightblades. I have a problem, I know, but I’m just having so damn much fun trying out variations on this class, I can’t stop myself. So…a few weeks ago I decided to roll a new, third NB based on this Battlemaster’s Corner post, “The Berserker.” Seemed like a great counterpart […]

Is that an African or a European swallow?

I really can’t take an RPG computer game seriously until it’s makes a Monty Python and the Holy Grail reference. I think it was the first Bard’s Tale game that played the Gregorian-chant-with-faceslap-by-book sound whenever you entered a temple for healing, and another time (in that game or one of its sequels) I found The […]

Bal Peri the Wolf Queen

Suck it, Potema: new sheriff in town 🙂

PTS—Crown Store stress test

There I was in PTS Riften eagerly awaiting the flip of the switch to get my first chance at perusing the new Crown Store for pets, mounts and costumes. I was pleased with it all—pleased especially that, true to their word, there was nary a hint nor a whiff of “pay-to-win” items—the quality of items […]

PTS—new Wailing Prison tutorial

The very first thing I did once the PTS was updated and downloaded and turned on was to roll a new toon and run thru the new tutorial I had heard was part of Update 6. I will say, I was pretty fond of the old tutorial, and can say that even though I have […]

Clavicus Vile, that is not funny!

One fine day our hero was innocently perusing an ancient Daedric ruin, when… I’ve got a bad feeling about this. Just walk away slowly, like you didn’t see anything. Aw, man, not a skellie again?! I hate that sound I make when I’m a skellie and I run.Or walk. Or move at all.

Werewolf au naturel

Alright, this was awesome: there we are, trotting through The Rift, when we’re like, “Hey, is that a pair of werewolves?” Yes, friends, it was a double full moon over Tamriel and that meant the NPC werewolf packs were out in force, ready to scratch us with their Sanies Lupines-infected claws! Now this was exciting […]

The sisters l’Egerdemain / the skills Legerdemain

This revelation from ZeniMax about the Justice system in update 6 made us chuckle: You see? Great minds think alike 😀 …Especially great criminal minds like the sisters! They cannot wait to get their nimble little wood elf hands on that skill line. Update 6 drops on the PST tomorrow and we are psyched.

The Misanthropist

I feel you, brother. I feel you.
