What with our success against pirates et al, why not take on an arrogant Altmer Lord-turned-Lich and do the vet pledge as well?
Mouser would continue in his Nightblade bloodmage Healer role, with the difficulty ramped up—it being a veteran group dungeon.
Here we see Mouser taking his portrait with various spectral manifestations:
So that was all well and good until we got to the boss-man himself, at which point High Kinlord Rilis turned out to be just a wee bit more hurt than my Mouser was able to heal. Or, at any rate, more than he could heal through while we also let the Daedroths run around inflicting pain, so as to hopefully get the Gold Key for the pledge.
So we did a bit of shuffling around of the tank and healer positions and then all was well. Lest this be fodder for the extremely boring, “Templars are the only viable healers” cadre, I take all the blame for Mouser’s failure on myself. I just need more practice playing him as a healer and learning the rotation. Also, in a moment of gaming l’esprit de l’escalier, one of my guilds advised me that maybe I should have been using my Force Siphon resto staff ability to boost up the heals over time. Shoulda thunk of that myself…
But all’s well that ends well, and I even managed to get for myself the headpiece to the Maw of the Infernal set!
