It also inspired us to actually figure out the whole Wooden Mask / Labyrinthian thing; very obtuse and simultaneously ridiculously simple: put on the mask in the room where you find it (i.e. do what the bloody note says.) It transports you in time to the same room in the past, but now the Shrine for the masks is intact and awaiting their arrival.
You can’t exit the room (yet, presumably? Or maybe ever, have to find out) so I’m assuming the next step awaits completion of all 8 masks. I have 2 at the moment, not counting the Wooden Mask, so I have a ways to go still…
